Anticipated Hiring Range

$5,540.00-$5,905.00 Per Month ($66,480.00- $70,860.00 Annually)

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Position Summary

The SSPIII position under the general supervision of the department chair(s) serves in the role of the Clinical Placement Coordinator in the Departments of Secondary and Elementary Education. The role includes several related, but distinct areas that include student fieldwork placement, student teacher advising, intern teacher advising, university supervisor training and assignment, and school district liaison. The work is essential to the success of each student’s preparation, and involves building positive working relationships with individual students, university faculty/staff, and school and district level administrators across multiple organizational lines. The Clinical Placement Coordinator also has an important role in ensuring that the credential programs meet the standards of the CTC for clinical practice, and supports accreditation activities. The Clinical Placement Coordinator maintains accurate records and generates annual reports for the dean and chairs.

Identifying and Confirming Clinical Placements and Supporting Student Teachers

Onboarding Interns with Supervision and Support

University Supervisor Assignment and Training

Other Duties as assigned

Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a related field, including or supplemented by upper division or graduate course work in counseling techniques, interviewing, and conflict resolution where such are job-related
