Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.*

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Performs basic research and gathers necessary information in FOOD/FOG/EMS and POOL Program to resolve customers account concerns via mail, telephone, e-mail, and in person. Communicates findings to customers as received or requested
- Performs data entry activities to update customers account within authorized limits.
- Receives, enters, and assigns complaints from citizens via e-mail, mail or over the phone.
- Makes reservation for all Food Safety Courses over the phone and in person
- Provides administrative support for the Food Safety Course, Food/Fog/Pool Permits daily.
- Processes payments and reconciles payments for all Programs Fog/Food/EMS and pool received by mail, online or in person.
- Performs duties related to scanning manifest form received and proofreads all scanned documents.
- Works on the TPIA requests as received and assigned.
- Answer Phones, Files documents, makes labels as needed.
- May also provide support on special projects as scheduled by the Bureau.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL EFFORT:The position is physically comfortable, the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc
WORK ENVIRONMENT:There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSRequires a high school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSOne (1) year of clerical/customer service experience is required.
SUBSTITUTION: An Associate’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree may substitute for the education and experience requirements

SALARY INFORMATION SPECIAL FUND POSITION
Grants & Special funded positions are dependent upon continued available funds. If funding is no longer available, employee may be laid off or transferred. Factors used in determining the salary offered include the candidate's qualifications as well as the pay rates of other employees in this classification.
