Occupational Therapist
As an Occupational Therapist you will be required to provide evaluation and treatment as licensure allows to people with developmental disabilities in order to promote functional skills in the areas of work, leisure, and self-care. Our team helps process sensory information like sound, vision, touch, smell, and body awareness. We try regulating emotions to prevent outbursts and support transitions in their daily routine. In a standard visit our therapists work with individuals to improve fine motor skills to make it easier for them to do daily living activities. This can include adding adaptive equipment to function earlier. We use a creative approach to make each therapy session fun, engaging and tailored to each individual. We care about your loved one and will celebrate each new milestone, big or small, right alongside your family.
