Security Officer - Cultural Center Control Room
Location: Houston, TX - 77017
Position: Security Officer - ROVER PATROL / GATE HOUSE
Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a professional, experienced Security Officer to work rover patrol and gate house of an upscale cultural center. The ideal candidate will be dependable, alert, professional, and comfortable in a busy public facility.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the garage and the facility roving patrol and relieving officers for breaks, and building activity.
- Maintain constant awareness of security and safety conditions.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
- Monitor and control building access.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management.
- Document incidents and complete accurate daily activity reports.
- Coordinate with officers assigned to the property when needed.
- Follow all site security procedures and emergency protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and a professional appearance at all times.
- Multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous security experience required.
- Experience in a cultural center, museum, upscale facility, high-rise, hotel, or similar environment is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid Texas security license required.

SUNDAY 8AM - 8PM (rover)
MONDAY - OFF
TUESDAY- OFF
WEDNESDAY - 7AM-3PM (gate house)
THURSDAY - 7AM - 3PM (gate house)
