Land Acquisition Specialist

Summary

As a Land Acquisition Specialist at Ryan Homes, a brand of NVR, you will assist the land acquisition department in analyses used to acquire raw land or finished lots for our homebuilding operations.What you will be doing:Develop and maintain a land pipeline tracking system.Research and identify new opportunities resulting from municipal driven rezoning and infrastructure improvements.Utilize GIS software and related resources to identify target development parcels.Prepare New Site Selection forms for new and ongoing deals requiring investment decisions.Perform resale and new home comparable analysis.Prepare land development timeline and budgets for entitlements.Complete Community Position analysis for new acquisitions and ongoing communities requiring investment decisions.Prepare presentation material used to facilitate the RFP process for Raw Land Deals.Assist homebuilding division partners with the preparation of financial analyses, development timelines, plans, budgets and Proformas.Qualified applicants have/are:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically ExcelEffective written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlinesLife at NVR:As the parent company of Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes, NVR is committed to your success and we will give you the tools, training, and industry knowledge you need to excel and thrive.
