The Thomaston Police Department is accepting applications for a Georgia POST-certified Police Officer to serve full-time on the campus of Upson Regional Medical Center. This is not a contract position. You are a full-time member of the Police Department with full benefits and support.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts
• 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• 15 working days per month
• Every other weekend off

Work half the month. Have structure in your schedule. Know when you're home.

Compensation:

• $55,400 to $62,500 annually based on training and experience
• $7,200 signing bonus
• Take-home vehicle with 50-mile radius allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol hospital interior and parking areas
• Maintain visible law enforcement presence
• Lead Emergency Room security operations after hours
• Respond to incidents quickly and professionally
• Ensure safety of staff, patients, and visitors
• Support hospital security as needed
