This position reports to the HE Public Safety Commander at the Beebe campus and works up to 19 hours per week as needed. The Part Time Public Safety Officer is responsible for providing campus safety and security.Required Qualifications Must be a certified full or part time police officer. Must be at least 21 years of age and preferably certified by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy. Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator's license.Minimum Salary or Salary Range $20.00 per hourBackground Check Statement This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.
