Position SummaryThe Police Officer performs a complete range of law enforcement services for the ECU Police Department. Duties include patrols, criminal apprehension, preliminary and follow-up investigations, traffic enforcement, other tasks that aid in securing the hospital campus.This position is primarily assigned to report and work at ECU Health Duplin but may be assigned to other regions as needed.Minimum RequirementsHigh School plus 1 - 2 years of formal education/experience is required or higher.Basic Law Enforcement Training is required.Law Enforcement certification by the State of North Carolina.Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.Minimum age of 20 years is required.Selected applicants must pass complete medical examination, psychological testing, and Police applicant background investigation.Pay RangeHourly: $26.75 - $35.99Other Information40 hours per weekMonday - Friday (5:45 am - 5:45 pm)Required to work rotational weekendsGreat BenefitsAbout ECU Health PoliceECU Health Company Police is a corporate department that serves all ECU Health properties.
