Summary
Black Bear Talent is hiring a Night Watchman. The Night Watchman is responsible for maintaining a visible presence throughout the hotel and conference center property during overnight hours. This position conducts frequent rounds of the grounds, monitors for unusual or suspicious activity, identifies potential safety concerns, and reports issues requiring attention.Shift: 11:00PM. – 7:00AM .ResponsibilitiesConduct frequent rounds of the hotel and conference center grounds throughout the overnight shift.Patrol designated areas multiple times each hour at varying intervals rather than following a predictable schedule.Monitor parking areas, entrances, exits, common areas, grounds, and other designated areas of the property.Remain alert for suspicious activity, unauthorized individuals, disturbances, safety hazards, or unusual circumstances.Help maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.Notify law enforcement or emergency services when circumstances require their assistance.Report incidents, concerns, or unusual activity to appropriate management.Check designated doors, entrances, gates, lighting, and other areas during rounds and report concerns.Assist guests and employees with general overnight concerns when appropriate.Document incidents, unusual activity, safety concerns, and actions taken during the shift.Follow established procedures for emergencies and overnight incidents.Maintain a professional and courteous presence when interacting with guests and employees.Perform other general overnight property monitoring duties as assigned.RequirementsValid driver's license required.Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Must be available to work 11:00 pm – 7:00 amAbility to remain alert and attentive throughout the overnight shift.Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.Ability to drive, walk and patrol the property frequently throughout the night.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.Ability to recognize and appropriately report suspicious activity or potential safety concerns.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, employees, management, and emergency personnel.Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining overnight coverage.At Black Bear Talent we're not just about filling a space.
