Position Description Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Amarillo Campus is seeking an additional OB/Gyn to join our Faculty Team. At Texas Tech Physicians, our faculty are passionate about providing unparalleled obstetric and gynecologic care to our patients. With some of the most experienced obstetric and gynecologic specialists in the region, we provide care for mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and daughters in a variety of service areas. Our comprehensive care and ongoing support is evident in every stage of women's healthcare, from well-woman exams to menopause. With a full spectrum of services, we go the extra mile to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients in every phase of womanhood.
Major/Essential Functions - Provide outpatient care including annual exams, prenatal care and gynecological procedures.
- Provide inpatient care including surgical services, labor and delivery and postpartum care.
- Participate in labor and delivery call schedule.
- Engage in quality improvement and patient care programs established by the department.
- Participate in the training of residents and medical students.
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications - MD/DO or Equivalent;
- Completion of, or in the process of completing, an ACGME accredited OB/Gyn Residency; and
- Ability to obtain Texas License.
- Foreign Medical Graduates Only: ECFMG Certification OR Equivalency Certification.
