Intake Deputy District Attorney (DDA III) (32 hrs/week)

Larimer County Fort Collins, Colorado, United States

Job Description:

Intake Deputy District Attorney (DDA III) (32 hrs/week)

Description

Overview

The District Attorney’s Office for the 8th Judicial District (Larimer and Jackson Counties) has an opening for a Deputy District Attorney III to work in our Intake Unit.

Our main office is in Fort Collins, with a second location in Loveland. We’re lucky to work near the Cache La Poudre and Big Thompson Rivers, Horsetooth Reservoir, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Staff are encouraged to take two long lunches a week to enjoy our community - whether it's running trails, biking in our Platinum-rated bike-friendly city, or taking a yoga class in Old Town.

This position is a .8 FTE, or 32 hours a week. After a probationary period, the attorney in this role would be considered for hybrid work (up to 50% hybrid). After 1 year at the District Court level, this employee will be put on the on-call schedule.

The District Attorney’s Office follows a blind hiring process. During the initial screening, hiring managers will only see your application, with your name and other identifying personal information redacted. Resumes and cover letters will be reviewed later, so please ensure your application is fully completed.
Please make sure cover letters are addressed to Brian Hardouin, Chief Deputy District Attorney.
