This position will be located at the Lewis and Clark State Office Building, 1101 Riverside Dr., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
- Perform administrative support tasks including: answer and direct phone calls; proof, edit and finalize documents; organize and schedule meetings and appointments; route daily mail; scan and file documents; and other duties as assigned.
- Process permits including: enter construction and operating permit applications into Missouri Clean Water Information System database; prepare permits for public notice; and proof, edit and finalize permits with supporting documentation for mailing.
- Process Antidegradation reviews and other project planning documents including: enter projects into Missouri Clean Water Information System database and proof, edit and finalize documentation for mailing.
- Provide general clerical support for over 10 engineers.
To be successful in this position, a candidate will need the following skills:
- Writing : Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a succinct, brief, clear and organized manner; produces written information, which may include technical material, that is appropriate for the intended audience.
- Computer Skills : Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work.
- Customer Service : Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.

Equivalent to those typically gained by:
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in office support work

Salary:
$35,592-$37,368 per Year
