Description: The
Program Eligibility Trainer II is responsible for developing and delivering training materials and curriculum related to all county administered eligibility programs, includi ng but not limited to: Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), Adult Financial, Colorado Works and Long-Term Care.
SCHEDULE:This is a full-time, hybrid position that works Monday - Friday, 8am - 430pm. Location: Jefferson County Human Services Building in Golden, Colorado
COMPENSATION: Hiring Range: $70,000.00 - $73,000.00 USD Annual Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:- Develop training courses and presentations on various subject matter. Develop classroom exercises and activities to enhance learning experience.Create training materials including educational and experiential activities.
- Obtain and maintain state trainer certification with the Staff Development Division (SDD) and facilitate state mandated trainings for public and medical assistance programs.
- Deliver training courses utilizing best practice methods. Facilitate classroom exercises and activities.Encourage participant engagement and interaction using various training techniques. Deliver lectures and presentations.
- Perform training needs assessments and coordinates in-house training efforts.
- Deliver training, presentations, and lectures both internally and externally to employees, managers, leaders, and community stakeholders.
- Track and maintain staff training participation data.Create and track pre and post evaluation and training assessments.
- Communicate with supervisors and leadership team on the progress of individuals in training classes.
- Design content for online learning systems.May load training programs and materials into E-learning tools and software.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: - 1 year of work-related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Note an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities: - 3 years of work-related experience within human services, with public assistance programs and eligibility determination in the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Behavioral Science or related field
- Strong facilitation skills

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION: - Offer of employment contingent upon successful completion of criminal history, motor vehicle report, education verification, and/or references.
- Must have a valid driver's license, if you are from out of state, you must obtain a valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of hire date and you must not have any major violations in the past three years. Relocation benefits are not available.
