The City of Chandler Building and Facilities Department is looking for qualified candidates to join their team as a full-time, regular Lead Custodian with benefits at the Center for the Arts. The position is scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

The City of Chandler Building and Facilities Division consists of 20 positions, including technicians, support staff, and management. We support 70 multi-use buildings totaling more than one million square feet and extending over 65 square miles. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to lead a crew and perform various tasks in the custodial care and maintenance of community buildings.

Minimum Qualifications
• A High School Diploma or GED; and
• 1 year of custodial experience; and
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

This is a regular full-time position subject to a 6-month probationary period. Should another position become available, a register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months.

The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results.
