Major Duties

Under general supervision, the Coordinator, EOP and College Advising Services supports a broad range of academic advisement and student success initiatives that strengthen the College of Humanities (COH) experience for both EOP (Educational Opportunity Program) and non-EOP students. The incumbent engages deeply in student outreach, holistic support services, transition monitoring, and collaborative programming that enhances retention and timely graduation. The Coordinator also contributes to first-year advisement planning, facilitates communication between college partners, and represents the Student Services Center (SSC)/EOP at key university events. Through proactive student engagement and consistent coordination with campus stakeholders, the role ensures students receive accurate guidance, meaningful support, and seamless access to resources.
