POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

The Butte College Foundation is seeking a dynamic Foundation Events Specialist to lead and support events that connect donors, alums, and the campus community. This position plays a key role in bringing meaningful events to life that inspire giving and strengthen community relationships.

Working under the direction of the Program Coordinator, the Foundation Events Specialist oversees fundraising and stewardship events, including the annual gala, alum gatherings, scholarship ceremonies, and donor receptions. The specialist also partners with college departments and programs to support their fundraising events and sponsorship outreach, helping to build strong relationships that advance the Foundation's mission.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:



* Associate Degree education equivalency is a 1 to 1 equivalency, one year of responsible work experience related to the classification for each full year (24-30 units) of college.
