Position Summary:Resident education involves supervised, progressively more complex, and independent patient evaluation and patient management functions, as well as formal educational activities. Residents provide care commensurate with their level of advancement and competence under the direct or indirect supervision of appropriately privileged attending Physicians. Under the supervision of an attending physician, residents complete patient evaluations, manage patient caseloads, and prescribe treatment.
Job RequirementEducation/Experience:Graduation from an LCME or AOA/COCA-accredited school of medicine.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:Applicants must be eligible for a medical training license in the State of Nevada. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA) are required within six (6) months of hire. Obtain and maintain a DEA and Nevada State Pharmacy license.
Additional Position Requirements Successful candidates must be referred by the ACGME Resident Matching Program for Diagnostic Radiology Residency positions, in accordance with the "Match" Agreement.
